It's so nice to meet you! I'm Jewels (she/her), juliana677 on AO3 and tumblr. Thank you so much for taking on this gift! I'm super excited to see where you go with it. You're welcome to take what you like from this letter; I mostly used it to organize my thoughts and provide some detail for some specific tags/characters that I like. Also feel free to look at my signups and letters for previous exchanges if you want. However please note that my DNW lists in this letter take precedence if you see something in a previous letter that is different here.

General:

I don’t have thoughts for every relationship I requested, but hopefully I’ve provided enough context for you! Please note that if I’ve requested something but it seems like it might be in conflict with my DNW (e.g. requesting a vampire character but vampire au is in my DNW), the request overrules!

I requested both the "/" and "&" tags for my Philza and Technoblade relationships- feel free to make them platonic, romantic, friends with benefits, in a qpr, etc. I'm comfortable receiving any versions of their relationship so feel free to go with what you like.

SMP Earth

The Antarctic Empire: It's a boogeyman to the rest of the world, a world power, a conquering empire, a barren wasteland. The leaders are powerhouses and loyal to their empire down to their bones. But how does it function, how do they survive, what's their relationship with other nations?

Techno/Phil; Techno & Phil: They’re coworkers, they’re friends, they’re partners in crime! Co-leaders of the AE and they do a damn good job. Learning to trust each other and building a working relationship that very quickly becomes a friendship that will define the world. Everyone is afraid of them but they’re just two dudes having a good time, vibing together, learning to trust each other to an insane degree.

Techno: Outwardly more chill than Phil. He seems reasonable. Is actually a ball of anxiety wrapped up in a fur-lined uniform. The strategist and the deal-maker.

Phil: Any sadness he had in the DSMP about Wilbur’s death is just feral here. Feral and cunning and ruthless. Techno makes the deals but Phil is the one standing behind him with a knife in his hand and bloodshed in his eyes.

Specific Likes: Royalty or Space AUs would be great here; royal/arranged marriage or war prize fic; examinations of the AE; closer looks into how the empire functions; maps; a behind-the-scenes look at conquering the world; first-hand documents from the attempt

Dream SMP

Techno/Phil; Techno & Phil: the closest of friends, or something more if you want to go that route. They trust each other and the other’s capabilities without question. Phil is Techno’s hidden sword and Techno is Phil’s partner. Their relationship goes back centuries, they know each other front and back and side to side and yet can still occasionally be surprised by something the other does.

Techno/Niki: Both of them are so, so used to being seen as something that does not encompass all of them (Niki as the sweet baker and Techno as the weapon) and now they have someone who sees them for who and what they are. Techno values Niki's sense of justice as much as her baked goods and her abilities as a fighter and member of the team. Niki sees beyond the weapon and the PVP god status to the man who loves Greek myths and who cares so deeply about his pets and friends.

Phil & Ranboo & Techno & Niki: please for the love of god let the Syndicate be friends.

Philza/Quackity/Techno: I just think Phil and Techno could pull off a great mean dom double team with Quackity. Also the fear play and wing kink potential would go wild.

Techno: tired and ready to retire but the world won’t let him rest. Overprepared for any outcome because in his mind everyone else will be just as prepared as he would be normally, so he needs to go the extra step. Kind to animals and his friends. He has emotional intelligence but talking about it would kill him so he simply doesn’t.

Phil: feral and sad. He killed his son and regrets it every day even after Wilbur comes back. He lives for chaos and is prepared to go feral at any time. Supports Techno unconditionally. Is overprepared for everything because he knows how to survive, and that includes knowing how to raid Techno’s base without Techno getting too mad about it. He always has a project.

Likes: AUs would be cool, but I also enjoy fics that play within the bounds of canon. Missing scenes or moments between characters, or backstory for characters that came onto the SMP knowing each other. I would also love to see the Syndicate bonding! Make them friends!

Origins SMP

Techno/Phil; Techno & Phil: they know each other from the past and trust each other. Maybe Techno isn’t one of Phil’s minions but Techno has surely been informed of some of Phil’s evil schemes.

Phil/Sneeg: Bros, partners in crime, chaotic little shits. Phil followed Sneeg to another dimension (Rats SMP) to try and get him back. They like to adventure and cause chaos together.

Techno: Obsessed with carrots. Claims he’s a frog. Long history with Phil. Mostly just wants to vibe and grow/eat/steal carrots.

Phil: He’s a cartoon villain and he loves it. The Villain on a server surrounded by villain wannabes. Just a Dude when he’s with Techno though. When he's with Sneeg he is somehow both 'Just a Dude' and 'The Villain.' It's a talent.

Likes: slice of life, how Phil and Techno met each other (two hybrids or a hybrid and a human on the run from the law and possibly also slavers), human Techno and hybrid Phil aus; how Phil and Sneeg met, heists; villain exploits; superhero aus; scifi aus; an arranged marriage au could be fun here

Prompts:
- A day in the life of Technoblade! Can be before he joins the rest of the gang around the Pub(e) or after. QSMP

Phil/Missa: Government assigned husbands! Missa is a pathetic wet cat and basically a looney tunes character but he still gets shit done and loves his government assigned husband and their kids. (Please don't make him just sad and pathetic and incompetent). And Phil is so, so good at the block game but not always good with people, which is where Missa comes in. Phil has a skull on his backpack for Missa and Missa got kidnapped by dogs while trying to find something nice for Phil, that's just how they operate.

Philza/Tubbo: As someone else put it "Tubbo is very 'mad scientist who needs to get laid'", and that's so right. And given Tubbo's interest in older men, Phil should be the man to scratch that itch.

Phil & Chayanne & Tallulah: Unconventional families my beloved! Phil loves his son and his adopted daughter. He knows them so well that he can immediately identify when the codes are pretending to be his kids and have fooled everyone else. They love him and trust him and listen to him. Chayanne followed Phil while he was possessed by the Ender King!

Phil & Chayanne & Missa: They're a family! They love each other! Phil takes Chayanne on adventures and lets him be chaotic and Chayanne and Missa cook together!

Ender King & Philza: Possession storylines are so much fun, there’s so much angst potential and the stakes are so high! Phil has two kids and he’s already dealing with the Federation and an absent husband and now he can’t trust his own mind and sanity.

Original Work

Most of these relationship tags I grabbed because they would be fun! I go into a couple that I had specific ideas for below but for the most part feel free to take them and run with them (keeping my general DNW in mind). You can also use these as prompts for one of the other fandoms in my request as well if you like! If a prompt has specific genders for the characters, feel free to ignore that and go with whatever speaks to you.

 

Burnt Out Cyborg Soldier/Their Personal Mechanic: The potential for caring, for devotion, for the only moment of rest with the person you trust the most. Something about it is just *chef’s kiss*.

Paleontologists & “Fossil” that’s not as dead as it seems: Okay, I took a few paleontology courses as part of my degree and the idea of someone or a group of someones having a pet rock fossil literally come to life is amazing. If only we lived in that world.

Enthusiastic Spirit Halloweeen Staff Member & Confused Monster: Listen, I just think this has the potential to be hilarious. A monster who goes from confused to outraged because this one detail of their costume is wildly incorrect and the employee is normally not paid enough to deal with this is incredible. Or a monster trying to go for a costume that will let them look human and blend in but instead they pick something that makes them stand out even more.

Female Plant Mage/Female Weather Mage: It could be so sweet! The weather mage helps the plant mage make the flowers grow and the plant mage gives the weather mage a reason to use their magic!

Pumpkin Farmer/Person Purchasing a Suspicious Number of Pumpkins: Okay, hear me out, the guy purchasing the specific number of pumpkins could have a motive that includes: going to taste-test every pumpkin pie recipe, he procures the pumpkins for fairy godmothers to change into carriages, he's making a life-size pumpkin carving of the pumpkin farmer and knows he's going to mess up a lot.

Vampire Hunter/Vampire Trying To Set Them Up With Other Vampire Hunters: I just think it would be great to have a vampire trying to set a vampire hunter up with other hunters, only for the two of them to fall in love with each other instead.

Male Leader of the Rebellion/His Right Hand Man (M/M): It’s about the loyalty, the trust, the devotion to the only person you can truly rely on.

Moon Goddess/Living Star (F/F): I think this would be great for art or a fic of how the moon goddess meets and falls in love with a living star.

Solo: Adventurer Trying to Discover A New Form of Magic Because Their Spells Stopped Working: This could either be hysterical or something deep, go nuts!

Solo: Autumn Witch: I love fall, I love witches, why not combine the two? Maybe either art or something about how her magic works (tied to change? To the harvest? To the dead? Go nuts!)

Winning General/Respected Opposing General Who is Their Postwar Arranged Marriage Spouse: Truly one of my favorite tropes. Love me a war prize fic.

Sentient Spaceship & Its Crew: It's about the found family! Who are they, how did they all come together?

Sentient Magical Weapon of Mass Destruction & Staff of the Sentient Magical Weapon Adoption Center: I did get this idea from a tumblr post, but I think it's great! What weapons do they have to re-home, who works at the shelter, do adventurers (or non-adventurers) come back with their sentient weapons to let them visit?

Solo: Sentient Weapon of Mass Destruction: what are the inner thoughts of a WMD? Does it revel in its purpose? Does it regret?

Inexperienced Wizard Trying To Summon a Dragon/Starfighter Pilot Who Flew Through a Space Hole: I think the comedy potential could go wild here! 

Reincarnating Detective/Immortal Criminal They've Been Trying to Catch: The shenanigans potential here is off the charts

Mech Pilot/Mech Engineer: Honestly, I just think it's neat.

Malfunctioning Combat Android/Robotics Engineer: The intimacy of someone putting their hands in your wires/insides while you're potentially awake in order to fix you. Or something like that.

Olympic Athlete for One Country/Olympic Athlete for Another Country in the same event: Competition, admiring each others skills, all that excitement has to go somewhere!

WB Prompts: I love scientific musings! Whether it's the ecology prompt, the time travel effects, fictional sea life, so much fun!

Crossover Fandom

I grabbed some of these because I thought they would be really fun to read or write! I’ve got a few thoughts for some of these tags, but honestly go wild!

Technoblade in Stardew Valley: I think Techno deserves to retire in Stardew Valley. You could go the route of other smp members also being Stardew residents, or Techno as the new farmer with the rest of the characters the same as the game. Either way Techno would have fun befriending the junimos, quoting anarchist theory at Lewis, and thwarting Joja.

QSMP Phil/SMP Earth Techno: How do these two meet (or re-connect)? Is there time travel involved? Maybe it's a war prize situation? Do they exist in a Mad Max-esque world? 

Missa/Phil/Techno: Phil deserves to have all his husbands in one place. An arranged marriage au specifically for QSMP Missa and the SMP Earth versions of Phil and Techno (or just Phil with co-emperor Techno watching the train wreck evolve from the sidelines). Or Missa finding different versions of Phil and Techno in every universe and falling for them.

Techno and Phil in the Murderbot Diaries: I don't have anything specific for any of the versions of Phil and Techno in this universe, so go wild! Swap them with canon characters, integrate them into the universe as a version of themselves, throw them into the universe and have them meet the canon characters, enjoy!

Techno and Phil in Pacific Rim: These two are so drift-compatible it hurts. I could see them piloting a Jaeger together. Or maybe one of them is a Jaeger mechanic/engineer and the other is a pilot! Maybe they've been piloting together for years, or they were thrown together as a last-ditch effort.

The Mummy

I love Evy and Rick's relationship and how you can see the evolution in The Mummy Returns. They're so in love with each other and Rick is so constantly awed by Evy. I'd love to see something with them set between the movies showing what those steps in their evolution were.
